Common Questions
Do employees need a Claude subscription?
Yes. MCP Tutor works with Claude Pro, Team, or Enterprise subscriptions, and with Claude.ai free tier if MCP connectors are available.
Where does the training happen?
Entirely inside Claude. MCP Tutor stores content and records progress. The teaching, the conversation, and the assessment are all Claude.
What if someone fails a demonstration?
Claude gives them specific feedback and invites them to retry. There is no limit on retries. All attempts are recorded in the audit trail.
Can we customize the curriculum?
Business and Enterprise customers can add org-specific chapters. Enterprise customers get full custom curriculum design support.
Is our conversation data sent to MCP Tutor?
MCP Tutor only receives what you explicitly submit: the demonstration prompt, the employee's response, Claude's assessment, and a pass/fail. Full conversation content stays in Claude.
How do I add my team?
From the manager dashboard, generate a connector link for each employee. They paste it into Claude's connector settings in about 30 seconds.
